The Hunt - Lucas (Mads Mikkelsen)

I worked on Lucas from The Hunt. After previously creating a likeness of Mads Mikkelsen, I wanted to revisit his character while exploring new tools and improving my pipeline.

This project was all about going back to the basics. I focused on simple elements like a shirt, jeans, and shoes, taking the time to build each part more carefully and thoughtfully. Instead of limiting myself, I aimed for an AAA-level polygon count to better support fine details, and used XGen for the hair following a standard pipeline.

​

I’m happy with how it turned out, and I’d like to push it further by adding more layers and details, especially worn and damaged variations in the clothing.


 
Tools used: ZBrush, Maya, Substance Painter, Marvelous, X-Gen, Unreal Engine5
